About Les Jamelles

“Les Jamelles, a story of encounters”

If one had to sum up the history of Les Jamelles wines in a few words, “the fruit of auspicious encounters” would be the natural choice. The history of these wines has been marked by a series of encounters that that led to the creation of the brand in the early 1990s and to its development over the last two decades.

Owners and winemakers Catherine Delaunay, the daughter of Beaujolais winegrowers, and Laurent Delaunay, representing the 5th generation of  a family of Burgundian negociants, met at University where they both studied oenology and went on to create the brand in the early 1990s.

Rooted in the Languedoc region, Les Jamelles epitomizes the rich winemaking tradition and diverse terroirs of southern France. The brand was born from a passion for crafting high-quality wines that authentically express the unique characteristics of their varietals and the Languedoc landscape.

Their future was destined to be in wine – that was for sure!
