About Fattoria Colsanto
Fattoria Colsanto is located in the commune of Bevagna (Umbria) in the DOCG of Montefalco. It is a modern winery with 20 hectares under vine planted with Sagrantino, Sangiovese and Merlot. Set high up on a hillside, Fattoria Colsanto looks over the towns of Assisi and Spello.
Colsanto’s Rosso di Montefalco, a robust, full-bodied wine with intense red fruit flavors, soft tannins and a long finish, is comprised of 75% sangiovese and 25% sagrantino. The Sagrantino di Montefalco, a complex, powerful wine is 100% Sagrantino, 70% of which is aged in barrique.
