About Elio Perrone
Precise selection in the vineyard and sophisticated production methods ensure quality wines.
Four generations of winegrowers are behind this dynamic company which since 1989 has been headed by Stefano Perrone.
Today, in the modern winery located on the edge of one of the company's most prestigious vineyards, the ' Sourgal ' Moscato grapes make up the bulk of production. The total area of the company now covers 11 hectares, at 360m above sea level.
'Sourgal ' is the name of the wine, but also the part of the vineyard which occupies about two hectares and the entire top of a high hill facing west. The exposure to the sun and the high altitude, equip this wine with a distinctive fragrance, powered by a fresh acidity and supported by the fruity scents typical of muscatel grapes. The wine is yellow in colour tending towards green, with bright and evanescent foam that releases intense aromatic scent, along with aromas of fresh fruit, grapes and peaches with a sweet flavour.
