About Edouard Delaunay

The Jubilant Revival of the Most A-Typical of the Great Houses of Burgundy

Laurent Delaunay, representing the fifth generation of his winemaking and négociant family, is revitalizing his family’s legacy.

The House of Edouard Delaunay, a venerable establishment with a storied history, had gradually faded from prominence in recent years. Nonetheless, it has always been deeply intertwined with the Burgundy wine trade and played a significant role in its dramatic global expansion throughout the 20th century.

In 2017, Laurent Delaunay, the great-grandson of the founder, reacquired the house with the aim of restoring its esteemed position among Burgundy's prestigious wine houses. Through meticulous vinification and aging processes, the house is dedicated to producing exceptional wines that highlight the unique qualities of Burgundy’s finest terroirs.
